2025 Broadcom Coding with Commitment Winner

A team of three innovative students from SJKC Keng Koon, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia – Sam Xi Ming, Tan
Khai Le, and Sin Ou Shern – earned recognition for their outstanding project, E.V.A (Elderly Vital
Assistant). This hardware project, built using Lego Mindstorms Inventor App, features an AI-powered
assistant that helps seniors manage daily tasks such as medication reminders, appointment
scheduling, and emergency alerts, while also offering companionship to reduce isolation. Inspired by
their commitment to improving the quality of life for older adults, the project aligns with SDG 3: Good
Health and Well-Being, promoting independence, safety, and social inclusion for elderly users.
